I freely admit that I don't even get myself most days.
When I'm out in the woods shooting David or Joe mountain biking or I'm court side shooting a basketball game, all I can think about is how much I want to do this for the rest of my life, how happy that would make me.
But then I buy brown eggs at the store because we needed some eggs or I make a loaf of almond bread because Joey really didn't want to go to school and almond bread is one of his favorite food groups and then I think to myself that all I want to do is shoot pretty food for the rest of my life.
Then today I made perhaps the best chocolate chip cookie recipe in the world. I've had Linda Lomelino's cookbook, "My Sweet Kitchen", for a while now, but have never made anything from it before. Well, today I made her skillet chocolate chip cookies and I just hope the boys get home from work and school soon because there may not be any left by the time they do.
And my goodness, they make for pretty subjects!
Good thing I'm back to running again.
So which do I like photographing better?
Just depends on what day of the week it is!
Happy Hump Day (and here's a link to her cookie recipe: Best Ever Skillet-Baked Chocolate Chip Cookies)!
