Day 82

The smell of Sweet William transports me instantly to the back yard I played in growing up. There were clumps all around the old playhouse and sand pile and fireplace. I used to pick them for Mom and she'd put them in a jar of water and place the flowers on the little shelf above the kitchen sink with a smile. I need to get a packet of the seeds to plant in my own wildflower garden this year.
