I'm not sure about you all, but I've always loved looking at the world upside down, whether it was hanging from a tree branch or a swing at the park or off of a chair while reading (what? you guys never read books while sitting upside down in a comfy chair?? Oh, it's the best!), so it's no surprise that I've also always loved photos of an upside down world. Last week, I ordered myself a crystal ball/meditation globe/gazing ball/what-have-you to play with. The day it arrived, David and I were going to go scope out the route of a trail race we were to shoot the next day and I brought along my camera and my new little toy, wrapped up in a kerchief for safe keeping (and also to keep my grubby little fingerprints off). After we picked out some good spots to cover the race, David played hand model for me and let me play. I think I'm going to have a lot of fun with this little glass globe.
