hide-n-seek

We were expecting big noisy thunderstorms to roll in from Oklahoma overnight Wednesday, and I found Langley hiding under my desk, taking shelter and preparing herself for a long night of thunder and lightning and pounding rain. It seems as she's getting older, she's becoming more concerned with the weather, especially severe storms like we get here in the spring. Thursday morning, she was hot on my heels as thunder cracked and rain pelted our roof. And then when the power blinked off for a minute, she practically leaped into my arms, tail wagging nervously and a look of worry on her face.

But she was "worried" about me because it's her job to make sure I don't get scared during these storms, right? At least, that's her plan anyway.
